I was reading the latest numbers from EBRI (Employee Benefits Research Institute) about Americans and their retirement.
- I was shaking my head and wondering how anybody could be so 'clueless' and irresponsible, when I ran across the attached infographic which introduced me to the demographics I had been wondering about.
First, the EBRI numbers were that 46% of workers have less than $10K saved for their retirement, and that 29% had less than $1K.
- Cap that with a population that doesn't have $100 in 'rainy day' cash for emergencies.
The 'helpless' I can understand, and want to help.
- The 'clueless?' NO.
