Sen. Murkowski Speaks Out About EPA Ignoring Alaskans' Concerns

Senator Lisa Murkowski is speaking out about the EPA ignoring the concerns of Alaskans while pushing through their controversial watershed assessment for Bristol Bay, Alaska that would per-emptively deny permits for Pebble Mine

“I’m disappointed that the EPA’s Washington-based leaders have failed to see the benefits of allowing Alaskans adequate time to comment on an assessment that could have significant consequences for the future of our state,” Murkowski said.

It is very disappointing indeed, on so many levels. Read more about how the EPA is working around the local Alaskans to stop the Pebble Mie Project here.

Resourceful Earth has made it simple to write your congressman about this abuse of power.

The consequences of this administration 'keystoning' another energy project in the United States will be severe in terms of jobs, the economy and acquiring much needed natural resources. You can access the action site here.
