Blogger Doug Ross has a talent for slicing and dicing the numbers and bringing statistics alive. Today he puts Obama’s welfare policy under the spotlight and finds it works to “permanently condemn the nation's poor to lives of misery.”

Now why would Obama want to do that? People who rely on the government have every incentive to vote for liberal politicians who always promise to give them more.
