After reading far too many news articles describing the G-20 "in action" at their latest summit in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, it seems pretty clear that our journalists are wildly 'spinning' what can perfectly be described in one word: "inaction."
The headline news you should be seeing, but won't, ought to read:
"World 'leaders' accomplish nothing at G-20 siesta-fest. Next week's EUro summit in Brussels to accomplish same results. Gourmet caterers celebrate unexpected upturn in business. Champagne sales pop."
Well, I guess they DID accomplish something if you consider "gargle-gargle, knosh-knosh" something to be celebrated.
