Listen up class, today we’re going to learn by example the meaning of cloying hypocrisy. First part of the assignment is to watch this Barack Obama campaign video (h/t PJ Media) starring Anna Wintour, the Freak of Fashion Avenue. Next week, if you can stomach it, bring an essay to class that answers the question “can you be a crypto-socialist and a nauseating elitist too?”

All socialists are elitists: they believe that after the Revolution, they'll get the job of running things, and of course the perqs that go along with it.
Socialism was never about empowering the people. It was always and only about empowering the movement's leaders: intellectuals who believed they hadn't been getting their fair share under the old aristocracies.
If I was Romney I'd spend about $10mil, playing that commercial over and over again. A little of that snotty fashionista goes a LONG LONG way. The negative bounce from having her face out there is the best advertising for Romney in the world.
