Another Kofi Annan failure, after Rwanda and Darfur. I've said before, if you haven't read Shake Hands With The Devil, read it and understand how the Canadian Peackeeping General was hamstrung in his efforts to halt the genocide in Rwanda in 1994, not hindered by the murderous Hutus, but by his UN bosses and colleagues. The Rwanda killing in terms of numbers in a short time period outdid even the 'factory' Final Solutions of the Third Reich.
