Remembering Fukushima! (Video and links)....by Michael Haltman at TPC

The Fukushima nuclear disaster, while out of sight and out of mind to most of us, is by no means over!

The world is dealing with a wide variety of issues right now including the financial, social and political crisis in Greece that is squarely on the front burner.

On this same burner is the condition of the U.S. economy, US unemployment, the upcoming U.S. presidential election, the economic condition of the rest of the EU, Syria, Iran, the rest of the Middle East, U.S.-Russia relations and of course the daily overhang of a potential terrorist attack!

Typically nowhere to be found, however, is news or commentary about the simmering nuclear complex in Fukushima, Japan.

This crisis that came out of an earthquake and tsunami is by no means either resolved or even really even under control and that may still pose a huge environmental and health risk to that country and any other country that shares an ocean with Japan, imports any food from Japan or is downwind from Japan!
