Inflation explained.................from Rico

When I saw this old McDonald's menu at "Mitchieville" my first thought was 'I remember when I was a college student and a hamburger there sold for 20 cents!' but my second thought was 'this makes the otherwise invisible inflation visible to all of us!'

Seriously, today people look forward to the selections off their DOLLAR MENU. Think about that for a moment. This is why you now have to spend two or three bucks for a burger at McDonald's (full disclosure - I no longer eat there so am only guessing at the price) and they accept credit cards to pay for meals. [hmmmmm...I wonder if they take EBT like my gas station does?]
- The intentional debasement/devaluation of the Dollar (otherwise known as inflation) has been with us for as long as we have endured the yoke of a privately-owned Central Bank!
