I still find it bizzare that at one point in time they used F 4's.
I felt the same way when my Uncle who was flying their support C-121 told me that they were going to the F4! First time I saw them fly in the blue and gold I changed my mind. They could do so much more than they could with the F-11 Tiger. The F4 really looked great in the T-Birds paint as well.
