A short video retrospective of Knesset members speaking in favor of “disengagement” during the debate in 2005 when it was approved. In retrospect, you’ll find the cast of characters who voted “in favor” may surprise you. They are spread out over the entire Israeli political landscape and prove some Jews may have great wisdom but many others are knaves and complete fools. Someday, when I’m in the mood, I’ll compile a similar list of American “friends of Israel” who went along for the ride but never admitted their mistake. Hint: most of them are Jews on the right who call themselves “conservatives,” and one notable gentile exception who happened to be the President of the United States at the time.
