This is a GE* graphic comparing the top ten economies of 1990 to those of 2011.
- China moved from #10 to #2, bumping everyone formerly ahead of them down a notch.
- Spain and Canada dropped off the list.
None of this is by accident.
A decade from now the top ten will again look VERY different from 2011.
- Obummer is doing his absolute best to make sure the US is taken down a few rungs.
Yeah, "change"...it isn't always the happy fluffy bunny some imagine it to be.
*Be mindful that Obummer's bestest butt-buddy Jeff Immelt of GE has moved HUGE chunks of GE's business to China, and he's not done YET (nor is Barry).

The second graph would be more revelatory were it in constant dollars.
