'I've lived in West Texas almost all my life and I think the ol' saying of "Once you get West Texas Sand in your boots, you won't want to leave" is true. When I was young I would go out to the ranches and farms with my Dad who hauled almost everybody's cows and horses.
I met some of the most friendly people I have ever met and they helped teach me about life. I've been to or thru almost every small town out here and know many from all over West Texas. One trait runs through almost all of them. They treat you right if you do the same and will help you when your down and say "no problem". Wonderful people.
Living and working out here can be a hard life and will be, if your not able to be as tough as the land can be hard. But thousands of people call it home and love it. Of course we have a bunch of yankees and west coasters visiting and working out here now so it ain't all made up of just Texicans now.
Look at the pictures and you will just get a small taste of West Texas.'
