Once upon a time in America, anyone that was sorta competent and willing to work really hard could get a job that would enable them to financially support a family.
Not any more.
Today 48% of Americans are considered low income OR living in poverty (~100 million people).
- In 1967, 97% of all US men (ages 30-50) with a High School Diploma had jobs.
- Today it's 76%.
- All of the unemployed in America today = the 68th largest country in the world.
If YOUR job includes any of the following, you are part of the 48%:
- Would you like fries [chips] with that?
- You shop at the Dollar Store because Walmart is too expensive.
- You can't afford to buy the things you are trying to sell to the public.
- Your car is older than your kids.

I remember when American coins clinked. Now they just clunk.
That alone is a measure of how D.C. has debased America's economy and jeopardized our children's futures.
