The latest chatter the past couple of days surrounding an Israeli attack on Iran is heavily weighted toward the “go” side. But of course there’s much more here that doesn’t meet the eye. And the profit motive is one of them. Israel’s one percenters are an avaricious lot, and they stand to increase their fortunes making and selling the new toys Israel would need to protect itself in perpetuity from an Iranian atomic attack.
As for our POTUS, he may yet sail to election day with the economic wind to his back. Taking in the factor of a lame-duck term for BHO only strengthens Israel’s calculus for a strike before our election – when Obama will have no choice but to grit his teeth and act like Israel’s Best Friend Forever.
