Chicken wings. Dostoevsky..................from Rico

The same Government that just said unemployment 'fell' to 8.3% by statistical fraud [it's running about 22% on planet reality] also maintains that 'inflation' is almost non-existent and is no problem.

Riiiiight. Now pull the other leg and/or my finger why dontcha?

Here is a simple example that even Obamunists and Democrats (C) can absorb, and possibly even follow:
- Chicken wings! [no mention here of left wings, since that would be redundant, having just given two examples above].

Three years ago one pound of wings cost 99cents. Last year that same pound cost $1.47. In January the price had risen to $1.99 per pound.
- No inflation here folks. Nothing to see. Move along now. I can hardly wait for the TOTUS (teleprompter of the US) to have a Marie Antoinette 'let them eat cake' monet and pronounce "let them eat chicken wings."

Dostoevsky in the 'Brothers Karamzov' says "People who lie to themselves, and believe their own lies, become unable to recognize the truth..."
[when Janet Napolitano's DHS brownshirts 'snooping' the web come across this he and I will be added to the 'suspected domestic terrorist' list for sure].

Inflation, measured by official statistics such as the Consumer Price Index, actually IS quite low. But then, when your ruler is made of rubber, it's easy to measure something and find a number that you like.

For example, the CPI excludes such "volatile" items like food or gasoline. But it INCLUDES things like computers and personal electronics. So if the price of your computer is falling rapidly (and they are!) then this can offset a LOT of other things for which the prices are increasing.
