Jamie Oliver - McDonald's.............from Rico

Well, I NEVER would have dreamt that I'd get to use Jamie Oliver and McDonald's together in the same sentence, but thanks to his efforts I can!

Like many, I didn't 'know' about the disinfectant (ammonium hydroxide) being used in their burgers, but Jamie sure did.
- He has done everyone a great service with his efforts.

I'ts been a while now since I completely gave up eating 'fast food' (I'd rather be hungry than eat that crap), but the many that still eat Big Mac's etc. will be a little better for this in future.

Bravo Jamie!

There is quite a lot of Ammonium Hydroxide already in the Human body it is a common chemical and is actually made in our gut by bacteria.
The World Health Organization has listed hundreds of food types that may be processed using ammonium hydroxide when used in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
These include dairy products, confections, fruits and vegetables, baked goods, breakfast cereals, eggs, fish, beverages such as sports drinks and beer, and meats.
So yet another useless scare story!

Agree. Another scare story. And actually, this might lead to more ecoli outbreaks and deaths.
