In California, they're destroying dams that keep water for the local population - this serves the double purpose of making eco fascists feel warm and fuzzy while also making it impossible for the locals to keep their businesses going and therefore having to move out - thereby returning more land to "nature" and increasing the size of the cities so we can all be controlled more easily!
A double win.
Liberals will demand that government keep their power bills down, while destroying power-generation facilities.
