1000:1, The New Formula For Peace...............by Dan Friedman

Beyond the debate over the morality or justice of Israel’s deal to release 1000 terrorists for one kidnapped soldier lies a simple fact: the Arabs always regard Israel’s last offer –even if rejected – as the starting point for new negotiations. Now that the Shalit formula has turned out “successfully,” the precedent has been set. If Israel wants to get the Arab thorn out of its side, it will have to give exponentially more than it receives. And even then Israel will have to accept the likelihood its bargain will come back to haunt it.

One way to solve that problem.

Stop taking prisoners. Then there is no bargaining chip.

Its war. Win it.

You're looking at this all wrong.

The Israelis have been forced to feed, clothe, nurse, and generally pander to 1000 terrorists for I don't know how long. That has cost time and money, and they couldn't shoot a single one.

Now, in my view, during all that time they could also have been spending even more money recording every word that the 1000 said. Whispered names, address, contacts; everything has been noted and correlated, and I would not be surprised if some of the more egregious terrorists have been bugged. All that free dental work? You can hide a lot in a cavity. Perhaps they've even been slipped a mild radioactive soup; enough to be detected by a drone, perhaps.

So now, these 1000 are back on the streets and being tracked, if not by my fancy methods then at least by spies, and before long, I bet the rockets will start to find their targets. Oh yes, the Israelis can now legitimately kill the 1000.

Think outside the box once in a while... it's fun.

Sooo the Arabs admit one Israeli is worth a thousand Arabs, now the Israelis need to keep that formula in mind when they retaliate for the murder of one of theirs.
