I am happy Troy Davis is gone, cause if he was given "life" sooner than later the Liberal progressives would find a way to have him released.
Look at Thomas Trantino covicted of the murder of 2 Lodi, NJ police officers (Sgt. Peter Voto and P.O. Gary Tedesco) in 1963. Given the death penalty Trantino's sentence was commuted on January 17, 1972, to a single life sentence, which would make him eligible for parole in 1977, after serving 15 years in jail.
Instead of taking a dirt nap for eternity, he's walking the street today.

I'm absolutely 100% for capital punishment.

It isn't just progressive heads bothered by this.
Where were they when the white guy was executed?
I thought so.
