Israel HaYom (Israel Today) is a free Hebrew-language daily published in Israel that has the largest circulation in the country. According to Wikipedia, “Israel HaYom has been criticized for its right-wing political slant, with its content being described as "propaganda." Some in Israel have described it as "a danger to democracy."”
I can’t think of a better recommendation than that. Much of Israel HaYom’s news and opinion is now available in English via the Web or opt-in email. I’m making it a regular part of my morning read. It’s refreshing to have a source of information about Israel that’s willing to show us the other side of the coin.
