Here he sorts out the bewildering events that have taken place in Israel over the last 48 hours. To which I would only add that Israel’s reaction has (again) been painfully slow and irresolute, allowing the Arabs to freeze any serious Israeli counterattack by putting another phony offer of a “truce” on the table.
