Ill winds..............from Rico

Metropolitan Japan's gamma radiation readings are increasing. No, not approaching any important threshhold levels, just spiking from normal levels.

BUT any wind-borne radiation from Fukushima will start coming ashore with the seasonal change in wind patterns shifting from 'offshore' to 'onshore.'
- Good news for the Pacific and America's West Coast, but bad news for residents of Tokyo, etc, who will have to (a) try and decipher the official radiation levels being reported to them (and are causing much confusion) and.or (b) decide whether their government is lying to them a wee bit.

The lead/concrete burial of Fukushima may be the only viable option left to the GOJ, but time will tell us...even if they won't right now.
