ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 5, 2010) Capt. Dan "Dozer" Dwyer, commanding officer of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 106, lands an F/A 18C Hornet aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77). The aircraft is painted in commemoration of the Centennial of Naval Aviation. George H.W. Bush is conducting training operations in the Atlantic Ocean. There's 26 aircraft of various types that have or will be painted for the Centennial, looks like they'll be making the airshow circuit next year too. Nice to see some color on these airplanes again; having everything in shades of Ghost gray gets so boring, y'know?
