My mother actually worked as a secretary in District Attorney Jim Garrison's office when he investigated the killing. From her own contacts in the Latin American community, she always felt that Kennedy was killed by angry Cubans over the Bay of Pigs fiasco. She always thought that they collaborated with the Mob to kill him. The Mob disliked the increased scrutiny after his election, feeling that they were the ones that had delivered his election.
