and after a trip to Waco today, I now have seen this. The frame holding the two rigs together holds the tandems of the back truck off the road, so no drive shaft removal. Everything pivots off the front Fifthwheel so the frame and rear truck are just an odd looking trailer. I'd thought they might be the same trucks, but the ones I saw were white with a white Nissan on the span.

It's a stretched pickup being transformed. But the tractor on the left isn't pulling hard enough.
