While the Weigel ‘JournoList’ Scandal Dominated the Blogosphere…

...I mostly took to Twitter! (Background is here.)

And it's funny how when you think you have a pretty high-impact post and it gets little love after all. Or maybe it wasn't that hot to begin with. Folks can check it out, "World Cup Gives Leftists (Another) Chance to Root Against America." (I'll be rooting for USA tomorrow, of course.)

Here's the pic for a teaser. Looks like a gang-banging Mexico-loving L.A. soccer fan, yo. Anybody surprised?

They can get as hopped up over their soccer as they want. I think I will watch the weeds grow in my neighbours garden this weekend. That will be much more exciting than 20 soccer games.

I propose giving Los Angeles back to Mexico. First off, they've successfully colonized it for 20 years and voting wise are running the place. In addition, California would instantly swing back to being a red state if LA county disappeared from the election roles. Also it's a net drain on the rest of the state and country. Yeah, we'd miss the ports but Hollywood and the business districts are more international now than American so no big loss. The only problem is we'd have to quickly seal the border between orange county and LA county so they couldn't get back in. Assuming they'd want to.
