The book was good. A little dark though.
The problem I had with the movie was the kid.
That kid was born into the apokolips. Every day of his life was spent in the apokolips. He had no experience of life other than the apokolips.
Yet the kid acted and reacted like some snively little weaksuck that had been raised in comfort and then suddenly thrown into the apokolips.
