With a notional in-service date of 2015-16*. The pic shows the BAE Mantis Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrator.

Subject to Defence budget cuts.

The Daily Mail article omitted the British Larynx drones flown in the twenties and the Queen Bee and Queen Wasp radio-controlled targets operated by the RN in the thirties.
