Twitter For Business

London, England

Last year, I filmed the corporate video clip below. At the time I thought that Twitter would become a valuable tool for finding and capturing new customers.
It's certainly a valuable marketing tool but what's the Return on Investment? What metrics would you use to find out whether tweeting has made any difference to your business? From my perspective, I've found Twitter to be a good way of connecting with people but that doesn't turn connections into business.
Twitter is a tiny slice of the marketing pizza and in my opinion you should forget gaining about tangible returns in the short term. Think ROE (return on engagement)rather than ROI.

At the forthcoming Speak Connect Engage seminar in London next month, the use of Twitter and other social media will be discussed.
