Looks like the Russians are getting ready to play hardball again, can you imagine the grief that these could cause if they were deployed accross the Middle East? What do you do, blast every shipping container you see? Imagine some swivel eyed islamic loon bringing something like this up the Baja peninsula, could these reach Pearl Harbour, or Portland?
Owners can expect their commercial shipping to become legitimate military targets for pre-emptive strike. So much for global trade. Maybe the US 2,000nm stand-off zone isn't so crazy anymore.
