I was involved in an Army op that turned tanks into artificial reefs in the Gulf of Mexico. The Army asked the Navy for some cargohandlers to load the tanks onto a train, which were transported to Mobil, Alabama. We put them on a barge and sunk them.....good times.

M42 anti-aircraft tank. Pair of 40mm Bofors guns if memory serves.
M42 Duster.... we had them in the 40th ID when i first joined in '82..
M42 Duster lives up to its reputation for being not notably amphibious...
