Throw the bum's out!................from Rico

Q. It was a VERY interesting question: If ALL the Federal-level politicians took a 10% pay cut, what would be the savings?
- Looking at the productivity of the private sector vs. the 'productivity' of the bureaurats, it's a mighty fine idea!
- Unfortunately (a) we'd not save enough to matter, and (b) it's not likely to happen...not voluntarily, anyway.
A. This is Obama-Soetoro's opportunity to be like FDR, no ....to be more FDR than FDR was, uber-FDR!
- Make them ALL dollar-a-year employees like FDR did. Not just the politicians, but the unelected top-tiers of the swollen gooberment bureaucracy!
- Again, unfortunately, while (a) this WOULD save enough taxpayer money to make some difference, (b) it's just never going to happen...not under the current regime.

?Our next-to-last chance?
While fully one-third of the good, productive, population is unemployed or underemployed, thus is unpaid or underpaid...about ONE PERCENT of the morons who created this merss are overemployed and overpaid. They have done nothing but rearrange the deck chairs while we are sinking.
- Meanwhile, after being "bailed out" with OUR tax dollars, the banks still do not trust the source of that money...they are NOT lending that money out to the public even though it came from us in the first place. They probably know that Wimpy is alive and liiving in Washington!
- The November 2010 elections are our next-to-last chance to "create" hundreds of new job openings inside the beltway (aka "foggy bottom"). We the people need to "pink slip" the bastards!

Vote! Vote "if you're IN, then you're OUT!"
- This just may remind them who works for whom. They are 'running scared' right now, and right after losing their phoney-baloney jobs the prospect of having to live under the laws they imposed upon us and on Social Security HAS to be causing a few sleepless nights among them. After we take our country back, changing the system to eliminate the
self-serving/gravy-train/free-ride "public service" has become back into true public service will certainly be at the top of the "to do" list.

Mot one little bit. They get voted if for one term and get full retirement benefits out of the deal. same with their healthcare.

We need a law that states if its good enough for the people then that should be good enough for the elected.
Of course, they would never enact such a law while they were in office unless they were able to grandfather out of it.
