Call it a canary in a coal mine.
FDIC is opening a 'new' satellite office in Chicago. It will handle receiverships and liquidate assets from failed banks in the Midwest.
This office will occupy seven of eleven floors of a buiding. Over 100,000 square feet for 500 bodies.
This is a HUGE expenditure!
Must be more "recovery" being anticipated.
There is no chirping.
Silence.

Who's brother owns the building?!
Poor guy had all that empty space, and now the tax payers are paying in full.
