His speech at CPAC was good, and I am not his biggest fan, I think he is planning to run for President. He is having "his own" event in DC in late August where he promises "a big announcement". Its now not about tea parties or the movement, but all about Beck. He is not working with any other tea party group for his event, they are still having one on 9/12. I think he is trying to do a successful grassroots movement to get him the nomination.
His CPAC speech was less frothing and far more staid. I was rather surprised to be honest, in a good way.

I loved his speech, but I don't think he will be running. There's too much ammo the other side could have against him.
Bill Bennett didn't care for his speech, check out my post:

I'm not sure he's entirely president material, he is, after all, a Mormon, and look what that got Romney last time. I do, however, wish that whoever we elect had half the love and enthusiasm for this nation that Glenn Beck does. We'd be in far better shape for that fact alone.
Just my opinion.

How about a 'Palin-Beck' ticket?
Palin for President, Beck as her running mate?
He's far more valuable where he is, and he knows that. Besides, would YOU take the cut in pay??
We have the entire video (6 Parts) posted on Common Cents:

Beck-Palin. I'd happily emigrate to the US of A to experience this, and I'll bring Thatcher with me, she can be their advisor on how to deal with the unions.
Beck has already stated that he is not interested in any office and that voters would have to be bat-sh#t crazy to even think about him as President.
The campaign would be fun, though......
