I remember this old Plymouth Dodge. It had heavy chromed bumpers that were used to jack up the car to change a flat. Most cars of this vintage weighed between 4,000 and 5,000 pounds. The rubber bumpers on today's cars couldn't hold up my weight without buckling or snapping.
