Was that ever built? Could 4 horses really move a device that heavy - 6 cannons, 3 gunners, a wooden platform, a thick wooden protective shield...? Also was the armoured part on wheels or just suspended "in balance" off the end of the heavy pole? If the former then how many wheels and what would its cross country performance be like? If the latter then the heavy pole doesn't seem to impinge enough into the armoured part? Great concept though...

Useless, slow and vulnerable to infantry and cavalry.

It was called a race horse and was designed by the committee...

The New Zealand army was still using them... till it was decided it was too "agressive" a few years back.
