I walked from UCLA in Westwood Hollywood to catch the opening of B of B. I was especially impressed with the aircraft - but even more so by Susannah York. It's now a regular on my DVD watch list.
I saw the movie when it came out years ago. Where did they get those Heinkels and Dorniers?
IIRC, the Heinkels and Me-109s were on load frm the Spanish Air Force.
Both types were used for years, but they replaced the German engines with Rolls Royce inlines, since they were easier to get and maintain.
