...does anyone have a USAAF Christmas Menu in the UK from the same era?
Also we would like to know what No 10 ITW was?

10 Initial Training Wing was at the requistioned Grand Hotel, Scarborough. It was the second stage of aircrew training - no aeroplanes yet! This article about 11 ITW gives an idea of the procedure: http://www.bbc.co.uk/ww2peopleswar/stories/02/a2855702.shtml
Initial Training Wing according to this
Theo - it actually says 10 ITW
= Initial Training Wing
Menu???
They're still putting the leftovers in rat pacs!
Per adua ad astra means "to the stars through work". I wonder why they chose it?
It was surplus to Army requirements.
And that wasn't the translation given them by the sock-counter.
Cheers
