Nope, that would be an artist's impression based on ideas from MGen Sir Ernest Swinton c.Fall 1914.Apparently, some inventors later resurrected the concept in 2Q 1917 in the US.Cheers
I sometimes wonder about this sort of thing - A shield on wheels to push across the battlefield. Sloped to deflect rounds and with a machine gun sticking out of it.It's probably a good job I'm not in charge of the MOD...
