Now that's a pub.....

On the edge of the Himley Estate lies the The Glynne Arms (more popularly known as the Crooked House or The Siden House). It is a house that has suffered badly from mining subsidence.

I drink in there occasionally, it must be the only pub that you feel more p*ssed (for the left-pondians that is "inebriated" rather than "annoyed") going in than coming out!

Owing to the strange angles that everything is at inside you can do a neat trick on the bar - put a bottle on its side and let it go - it appears to roll uphill.
