A number of years ago the USAF experimented with extracting an ICBM out the back of a C-5 in flight, whereupon a parachute oriented the ICBM vertically so its engine could be started and the missile sent on its way from midair.

As a former C-141 crew chief, the flight crews were the oddest things I ever saw in them. So I'd say it's the same for C-5s.
