..whatever happened to Wendy James?
Wendy James lives in New York and sings with the band, Racine.
She did a solo album with Elvis Costello and then moved to the US. Last I heard she was in a band called Racine.... not as I was told a few years ago, working in a clothes store on Oxford Street...
For matters of no consequence, wikipedia will normally do:She is currently the singer in the band Racine.She was extremely cute, though - but I did (do?) prefer Cla(i)re Grogan.

This tune always rather reminded of that other great summer hit 'Dressed for success' by Roxette. Would be interesting to hear a mash-up of the two songs..
