there's a flight sim very like this embedded - hidden - in Microsoft Excel (see here)
You can do that with real scenery with Google Earth. Cntl/g to get stick (left button) and throttle (right button) control mode. Cruise the mountains inverted if you want.
Or any flightsim with scenery, for example the venerable MS. Pick a jet.

And I couldn't figure out how to fire the gun... Is it space bar? CTRL-F12? How do you cycle through targets? Select ordnance?
Then again, I didn't see any Taliban...

Excellent game-play, story lines, scenery, action ...
The sound is great, although a bit monotonous. Scenery ... looks like here, right outside of Anchorage in the winter.
A/C US....elevator control failure, restricted aileron....noise in headset.
