Quite amazing how the news media chose to ignore this story - is it because the people affected gottogether to pull themselves out of trouble? Somehow "Self reliant mid-westerners just do it" doesn't fit into an anti-American news template.
What city is in that second picture? And/or where did these pictures come from? TIA
that is a tornado isn't it? Never seen one that much up close. Looks pretty. Wonder what type of F number that would be?
