    Only one i have not had the pleasure of fireing is the 1836
    .35 cal Patterson.Love the Bisley used to shoot one in 38/40 grip looks all wrong until you try it.

  4. These 4 pictures explain why the left hate guns. 1st law and order. 2nd respect for personal private property. 3rd, the 1st duty of the government is to defend us all. Period. And 4th, and most important, it is our responsibility to keep our power dry.

    Guess which rig consistently lost in quickdraw and ended up with lower muzzle velocity than the proper design.

  6. The Buntline Special.

    Which, by the way, Colt has no record of any such pistol being ordered, nor made by Colt.

    The whole "Buntline Special" story seems to have come from a book published in 1931 written by Stuart Lake, shortly after Wyatt Earp's death. Evidence that the gun was real has been otherwise scarce.
