What great paintings Theo i really like. A Schofield an 1874 Sharps just like mine an 1873 or 1876 Winchester and an 1875 Remington Skull Crusher i used to have one of those 20 years ago in the days when we could own Pistols!
In the late 60's an unopened case of those Remington .44s in nickel plated finish consigned to the local Police Force was discovered during expansion of the harbour facilities. Must have been misplaced 80 years.
They were sold to local dealers, and I know one at least was reamed out for some other cal. Aarrggghh.
