The Sunday Best....

Revealed: Fuel strike leader earns thousands more than his union members ... and he'll be on £50,000 if they win. Typical greedy socialist. The tanker drivers are getting no sympathy here.

One of Britain's top soldiers wounded during firefight with Taliban. Leading from the front.

Dogs of war: After four years in jail Britain's most famous soldier of fortune prepares to stand trial for plotting to overthrow Equatorial Guinea government. It will be interesting to see if anything new comes to light. I doubt it.

Iran rejects nuclear offer from Western powers. The longer we procrastinate the closer Iran gets to getting nukes.

MoD has £3.5bn 'hidden' debt, says Liam Fox. Only 3.5 billion. Considering that the defence budget needs to be doubled, it is nothing. I don't trust the Tories to be any better on defence than Labour.

Robert Mugabe threatens war on opponents as wife Grace joins battle over election. There is going to be a war either way. We will sit back and do nothing as per usual. Am I the only person who would like to see Mugabe and his wife 'thrown to the mob'.

Get Osama Bin Laden before I leave office, orders George W Bush. Bin Laden, Al Sadr, Imadinnerjacket, Chavez, Mugabe the list goes on. Dubya should nail the lot before he goes, it is hardly going to lower his ratings.

Second batch of secret papers found on train. The civil service seem to have embraced the Freedom of Information Act with a little more enthusiasm than necessary.

‘Vultures’ expose corruption. African politicians an corruption are inseparable.

and the Clarkypoos bit.

Swim with sharks — it’s easy money. Or how to con the press.

What is with you Brits and state secrets?

If I found classified information abandoned on a train, my first inclination would NOT be to call the New York Times or CNN. I'd call the owner.

iwouldnt trust any mps with the defence of this country as how much money do you think has been wasted useless reforms costing billions and achieving nothing - money well spent
