I was just googling these guys, trumpton, camberwick green et al.
Trying to find a pic that will fir in the banner ogf my blog of the fire engine guys.

Camberwick wasn't an 'exciting and diverse' village in those days. I'm sure it has moved with the times, all the shops have graffitti'd steel shutters, the post office would be closed and taken over as the local mosque, the bakers would be a 'Greggs'.........Ahhhhhhh....happy days!

Surely the baker would have faxed or emailed his order to Windy Miller.
There again, the baker would have been part of a Tesco!
And it would be Ms Honeyman and her baby!
She would have been a single mum.
And the fort would be demolished to build one of Gay Gordon's blasted eco-towns.
