Ah, the Collings Foundation's B-24J in 8th AF, USAAF colours. I wonder when they'll repaint it to honour the VLR Liberator crews of RAF Coastal Command who closed the mid-Atlantic gap and helped win the Battle of the Atlantic. After all the 15th Af and 5 AF have already been so commemorated.
Thanks, I needed that! Although my father, a B-24 vet has issues with that one's historical authenticity.. Wrong tail turret says he - he raised hell with the crew at the one air show when he saw it. Gotta love 82 year old curmudgeons.
