Hey, I was born near there! Saguaro Cactus, probably near my hometown Phoenix...did you know those cacti couldn't even breed without a bird's intervention? Thusly the Arizona State Bird is the Cactus Wren...

Or Tucson more likely. Tucson has a ton more Saguaro cacti. It takes 80 years to grow an "arm". Indian women pull the fruit off the tips of the arms and main trunks in the spring.

They only grow (officially) in the Sonoran Desert. However, I spotted one in the mountains on the way to San Diego.
